How to Practice Wildlife Photography

Wildlife photography may be very difficult for some people, it requires determination and persistence to do it. However, you can train it in several ways below:

1. Framing

Framing is an important thing in the world of photography. You can make photos more dynamic and not boring. For example, in the photo below, in the foreground there is a green object that is blurred by hanging a leaf on the front of the lens. The photo can also tell the story if the photographer is hiding in the bushes.

2. Timing

Timing plays a very important role in wildlife photography because it cannot be predicted and directed. You can practice paying attention to the movement of the animal while preparing to take a picture.

3. Corner

It is important to adjust the shooting angle to the condition of the animal, for example if the animal is lying down you can lower the camera position to get a parallel photo. Likewise with the position of the animal at the top. A camera with a rotating LCD will be very helpful in conditions like this.

4. Image cropping

To remove distractions from photos, you can crop images that can distract attention. For example, when taking photos at the zoo, you can cut out parts of the boards, fences or other signs that indicate the zoo so that your photos look like they are in the wild.

5. Equipment

The lens plays quite an important role in this photo shoot. It is recommended to use a lens that can be magnified far enough so that you can shoot from quite a distance.
