What is Google's Colorize feature? Introduced in 2018, this feature uses machine learning and artificial intelligence technology to turn black and white photos into color. It's really cool. Photos edited with the colorize filter produce vintage colors, as if they were taken with an analog camera.

In the third photo, the one that was colorized, we can see that the results still do not resemble the color of the original photo. In comparison, the color of the river and the fence is lighter, but the hue is browner than in the original photo.
Once this filter is available for public use, it can be used automatically in the Filters section of Google Photos. However, you will need to enable the "Backup & Sync" feature to use this feature, as the photos will need to be stored on Google's servers. For now, this feature is still in beta and there are still several bugs that are quite annoying, such as the color application process, which is quite long. Let's just wait for the next update from Google :)
