Golden hour is the time when the sun's position is aligned with the horizon line. The resulting colors are warm and good for photography. Usually the golden hour is one hour before sunset. You can see some tips below:
1. Location
You need to decide first whether you want to focus on the sun or portrait photos, or when blue hour starts. It is recommended to come early, one hour before golden hour because the time is usually quite short, so don't miss it. At sunset, the light produced is warmer and tends to be orange.
2. Equipment
The equipment used is quite simple, you only need a tripod to help capture maximum photos. You can experiment by using different types of lenses, for example wide lenses.
3. Camera settings
For settings on the camera , you can use cloudy white balance. Your photos will be warmer and have lots of colors produced by the golden hour. Lower the ISO to avoid noise. You can more or less follow these settings, and adapt them to your individual conditions:
ISO 100, Exposure +0.7, Aperture f/2.8 (if you want a bokeh effect), f/14 (if you want a sharp photo).
