Tips Membawa Kamera ke Gunung

Tips for Bringing a Camera to the Mountain

For KEE friends who are going to the mountains on holiday, it's really fitting to read these tips. Usually the conditions in the mountains are very different from those in the city. The temperature is cold and the road conditions are not as smooth as asphalt. Come on, let's look at the tips:

1. Bring equipment as needed

Usually when you want to go, you definitely like to bring quite a lot of things, afraid that you will need them later. But to go to the mountains, you only need to bring the equipment you really need because you need to consider where to carry your life support items. For standard purposes, you can bring a tripod, a fixed lens (50mm/ 35mm), and a universal lens (18-135 mm / 18-105mm).

2. Maintain the temperature of the camera bag

Because the air in the mountains is cold, a sudden change in temperature from hot to cold can cause the camera to fog up. Your image results are not sharp and not optimal. You can add an additional layer to your camera bag with a dry cloth or towel to keep it warm and prevent condensation. Apart from that, you can also add silica gel to help absorb the wet air in the bag.

3. Cleaning kit

You need to bring it if for example something happens to your camera. You can use a cleaning kit to make it safer. Apart from that, if dew occurs, you can clean it with a cleaning kit. This is definitely safer than if you clean with objects that are available at that time.
